Colorado has so many dirt roads to explore with beauty everywhere, however, taking your big bike off-road can be a bit daunting and challenging. West38Moto can help you overcome some of your fears by giving you tools and techniques to tackle these dirt roads. Any size bike and riders are welcome to join us!
The day will begin with a brief discussion about off-road riding in general - balance, braking, bike pick up techniques, and many more. You will learn and practice riding in the friction zone, braking techniques, slow speed turns and other maneuvers. We will break for lunch in town followed by an off-road ride in the afternoon applying what we’ve learned throughout the day.
Meet on Friday, July 21st, at 8:00 am in front of the Smith Teen Center with your bike. We’ll train at Paonia K-8 school, break for lunch in town followed by a ride in the afternoon.
Early registration is $229 and the class is limited to 12 riders. After June 13, the price increases to $249.
